Video conferencing at Information Commission

CHENNAI: The facility to conduct enquiries through video conferencing for petitioners at State Information Commission was launched at a function here on Wednesday.

An official release said the Commission was continuously conducting enquiries at the headquarters and district headquarters to reduce the pendency of second appeals. The first enquiry of petitions following the introduction of new facility, was conducted from Kanyakumari district.

The facility was launched by the State Chief Information Commissioner K.S. Sripathi, the release added.
