Intermediate second rank holder Sandeep's mother offering sweets to him in Nalgonda on Thursday. NALGONDA: Singamaneni Sandeep, a student of Gowthami Junior College, Nalgonda, secured the second State rank (MPC), scoring 991 marks in the II Intermediate examination, results of which were declared on Thursday. He secured 466 and 464 in the first and second Intermediate respectively. The second son of Srimannarayana, a statistical officer in the Collectorate, and Bhavani, a houewife, a beaming Sandeep told The Hindu that he wished to become a software engineer. Besides the regular school hours, he had studied for four hours additionally to bag impressive marks, which are just two short (993) of the State topper. He shared sweets with parents, besides the directors of the college. His elder brother, Raghu Teja, had secured 975 marks in the II Intermediate examination last year. He is pursuing engineering study. Directors of the college K. Venkat Reddy, Ch. Venkataramana, K. Raghupal Reddy and P. Venkatramana Reddy congratulated him.
