SSLC cards to reach DEOs before May 13

Announcing the Results:Minister for Education M.A. Baby releasing the SSLC results by handing over a copy to State Education Secretary James Varghese in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.

Thiruvananthapuram: The pass percentage of T.H. SSLC, the results of which were announced by Minister for Education on Thursday, is 97.88.

Of the 3,014 regular students who took the examinations, 2,950 qualified for further education. All 32 regular students who took the examinations at the T.H.SSLC Special School were declared pass. Sixty-two of the 70 regular students who took the examination from Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School too passed the examination. As many as 511 students took the examination from 11 schools in the Gulf and 1,055 students from nine schools in Lakshadweep.

Among them, 504 students in the Gulf schools and 837 in Lakshadweep became eligible. St. Mary's HSS, Pattom, had the distinction of having the maximum number of students for the examination — 1,401 — followed by Panakkad Pookoya Thangal HSS, Malappuram, with 1,008 students and P.K.M.M. HS, Edarikode, with 1,005 students. Only four students each took the examinations at the Government HS, Wellingdon Island, Ernakulam, and Government HS, Elimullamplackal, Pathanamthitta.

Applications for revaluation, scrutiny, and securing photocopy of answer sheets can be submitted online on http://keralapareekshabhavan.in from 10 a.m. on Friday. The computer printout of the applications should be submitted to the headmaster of the respective school before May 6. Headmasters will verify and submit the applications.

Students who apply for revaluation need not submit separate applications for scrutiny. The Save A Year examinations will be held from May 16 to 20 and the results will be published in the first week of June.

The SSLC cards will reach the District Education Offices (DEOs) before May 13 for distribution to the students. C.V .Raman merit certificates will be given to students who have secured A+ in any subject, Mr. Baby said. The Minister also gave away certificates to eight select students who got A+ at the venue where the results were announced.
