MADURAI: K. Vaisalie was held to a draw by D. Meera in the eighth round of the Velammal's State under-11 chess championship here on Thursday.
Vaisalie, despite her drawn encounter, continues to lead in the girls' section with 7.5 points. In the boys' category, A. Vaibhav, A.Ra. Harikrishnan and Aniruddh Aiyengar shared the lead with seven points each.
