Martin Olsson nets winner

BLACKBURN: Blackburn Rovers beat Bolton 1-0 on Saturday to win for the first time since January and improve its chances of avoiding relegation from the Premier League. Martin Olsson scored in the 20th minute.

In another match, Simon Davies scored twice as Fulham won 3-0 at Sunderland for its second away victory.

Everton converted one of its two penalty kicks to draw 1-1 with Wigan, while 10-man West Bromwich Albion rallied to beat Aston Villa 2-1 for the first time in 26 years. In the last match, Chelsea overcame Tottenham 2-1.
