Protect playgrounds
In response to last week's Public Eye on playgrounds, titled “Ground Reality”, dated April 26, Prof. Ashok Jayaram of the CMR Institute of Management Studies, Kalyan Nagar, writes: Bangalore city was once renowned for, apart from its air-conditioned climate, flora and fauna with ample space for children's parks and playgrounds. It has become a thing of the past in the last five to eight years, what with all of them being converted into marriage pandals, commercial exhibitions and even space for early morning joggers.
