Shocking:Narayanamma, mother of B.V. Krishna Reddy, a BSc student, breaks down at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, after her son went missing in the sea near Antarvedi on Tuesday. ANTARVEDI (East Godavari): Four students doing their graduation at the Vijayawada Loyola College are feared drowned when they ventured into the rough sea for a swim here on Tuesday morning. They were part of a group of National Cadet Corps at a camp. Two of the group of six missing youth came to the shore safely and were being treated at the Razole Government Hospital. Coastguard boats and a Navy helicopter were pressed into service to search for bodies of the four missing, who include B.V. Krishna Reddy, P. Suresh, K. Vamsikrishna and Sk. Feroze. The duo who were declared out of danger are G. Poornacandra Rao and T. Raviteja. Sakhinetipalli Sub-Inspector T. Govindaraju, involved in the search operations said 16 NCC cadets came for the camp in YN College of West Godavari district from where they to Antervedi for darshan of Lakshminarasimha Swamy, after which they went into the waters. Considering the time of the month when the tides are at their peak and also because the youth went unknowingly near the lighthouse, where the depth is more, police fear the worst. Police said it would take at least 24 hours to trace the bodies as tides have to ease.
