Free training programme

Training will be offered in driving three-wheelers, handicrafts and house wiring


KRISHNAGIRI: A free training programme for employability and self-employment for those retired during the last five years, war widows, unmarried son or daughter of defence personnel will be offered through the Central Rehabilitation Directorate.

In a release issued here on Thursday, the Assistant Director, Ex-Servicemen Welfare, said that it has been proposed to impart free training for driving three-wheelers, bank recruitment examinations, milk dairy, handicrafts, house wiring, computer operation, indexing and maintaining of accounts through computer, computer hardware and network, heavy vehicle driving, drilling, photography and welding.

Aspiring persons belonging to the above category have asked to approach M. Muthuram, Assistant Director, Ex-Servicemen Welfare, in person. Those who had received training through the Central Rehabilitation Directorate are not eligible, the release added
