CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has declared two days' State mourning on May 5 and 6 following the death of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu. An official spokesman said the national flag would fly at half mast. Also, all government functions have been cancelled. Governor Jagannath Pahadia and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have condoled the sudden and untimely demise of Mr. Khandu. Mr. Pahadia described the departed leader as an able and committed public servant who served the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Mr. Hooda said that in Mr. Khandu's demise the country had lost a dedicated Chief Minister who was keenly interested in the development of Arunachal Pradesh.
