Free training in horse riding and shooting

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Police will be providing free training in horse riding and rifle shooting to students from May 20 to 30.

City Police Commissioner C. Sylendra Babu told the reporters that the training in horse riding would be imparted to 200 students with the help of United Royal Riders Equestrian Centre on the Armed Reserve Grounds from May 20 to 30. Similarly, with the help of Coimbatore Rifle Club, 100 students would be trained in firing/shooting. Students in the age group of 12 to 18 years are eligible for the training.

Mr. Babu said that the objective of the training was to enable the students learn a new skill free of cost and spend the summer vacation usefully. Interested persons can contact: 9786700717; 8903400497.
