Sardar Raja College of Engineering

Sardar Raja College of Engineering (SRCE), the sister concern of Rajas Colleges, was established in August 2000 by Sardar Dr. S. A. Raja, Founder chairman of Raja educational and charitable trust. The college approved by AICTE vide no.732-52-136/RDEG/2000 dt. 14-7-2000 and affiliated to Anna University is managed by chairman Er.A.Jesus Raja.

The college campus is nestled near the foothill of the famous courtallam mountains of the western ghat section of south Tamilnadu, which makes up proud to offer you a quality of life difficult to find anywhere else. It is near Alangulam on the TirunelveliTenkasi-Kollam national highways. The college can be easily reached by all public transport and college buses from all areas of Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Cheranmahadevi and also from Kerala.

The college provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. It has a hygienic kitchen and spacious mess hall to cater the appetite of our students. It also has a modern cafetaria.

Our mission is to educate students by combining traditional academic values with innovative teaching and advance technology, to deal with the major issues of the society over the next generation: job opportunities, enhancing competitiveness, improving health care, non-polluted environment and supporting a sophisticated infrastructure. Students are broadly prepared in technical, leadership and management skills at both inside and outside the classroom with input from well-qualified faculty, guest-lecturers, and by in-plant training.

FACULTY & LAB FACILITIES:

Keeping in line with fast changing technology, all departments have a well qualified faculty members, constantly reviewed teaching strategies to teach students all the advancements in existing and emerging technologies. The State - of - the - art laboratories, equipped with the latest equipments, which complement the high standards set by the competitive syllabus and nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development besides giving them the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge that they need. A host of highly qualified and well experienced faculty members handles theory and practical classes with lucidity. Many of them have a right mix of industrial, research and teaching expertise. SRCE is not only committed to the development of the students but also in the career of the staff members.

COMPUTER AND INTERNET LABS

To adequately train the students to meet the challenges of the future and to assume leadership roles in the practice of computer engineering, the college provides state of the art computing facilities installed with latest softwares. The large number of terminals makes IT access readily available for all students. The central computer lab is opened 24hrs to allow you to study or just to keep in touch with friends and family at home. By using the 4 Mbps Leased line, students can browse web on all the computers on campus which are networked.
