HYDERABAD: Effecting changes in a few top bureaucratic posts, the State government on Monday transferred 18 IAS officers. Guntur and Srikakulam also get new Collectors. Among the senior bureaucrats to be transferred were Principal Secretaries T.S. Appa Rao and B. Sam Bob who will swap places. While Mr. Rao is presently in the Municipal Administration Department where elections to municipal bodies are due, the latter is heading the Industries and Commerce Department. Another top post to be filled was that of Special Commissioner of Land Revenue with B. Aravinda Reddy, Commissioner and Inspector General of Registration and Stamps. K. Madhusudhan Rao, Member Secretary, AP Pollution Control Board, comes in place of Mr. Reddy. M. Dana Kishore, who is awaiting posting, will replace Mr. Rao in the Pollution Control Board. Harpreet Singh, Managing Director, AP Dairy Development Federation, is transferred as Commissioner of Civil Supplies in place of Sanjay Jaju who will proceed on mid-career training programme for IAS officers. Praveen Prakash, Managing Director, AP Mineral Development Corporation, will take over from Mr. Singh. Mukesh Kumar Meena, VC and MD of Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, will take over as VC and MD of Mineral Development Corporation. M.V. Satyanarayana, CEO, AP Khadi and Village Industries Board, has been transferred as Commissioner of Survey, Settlements and Land Records in the existing vacancy. V.N. Vishnu, Commissioner, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, is the new Collector of Guntur in place of B. Ramanjaneyulu who will go on mid-career training programme. G. Venkata Ram Reddy, Additional Secretary, Women and Child Welfare, will be the Collector of Srikakulam, replacing Srikant Nagulapalli who has been transferred as CEO of Arogyasri Health Care Trust where the incumbent A. Babu has been shifted. K. Harshavardhan, OSD in the office of Commissioner of Small Savings, has been posted as Joint Collector of Nizamabad in place of M. Jagannadham who has been transferred. D. Muralidhar Reddy, Additional Joint Collector, Krishna, has been transferred as Director of Ports in place of K.V. Ramana. An IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre P. Ramesh who is on deputation to the State has been posted as Joint Managing Director of AP TRANSCO.
