VISAKHAPATNAM: Symbiosys Technologies has contributed Rs.1 lakh to GITAM University students who have been selected to attend NASA's Second Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition to be held at Kennedy Space Center in Florida from May 23 - 28.
Symbiosys CEO Naresh Kumar handed over the cheque to GITAM Registrar Prof. M. Potha Raju in the presence of Vice-Chancellor G.Subramanyam on Tuesday.
The team will present their prototype of a lunar excavator to excavate lunar regolith from the surface of the moon. The team left for Kolkata on Tuesday for their Visa and would fly from their to Florida to participate in the competition.
