Kolkata: After the RSP and the Samajwadi Party, another major Left Front partner Forward Bloc on Thursday attacked the CPI(M) for its poor show in the West Bengal Assembly elections and demanded a thread-bare analysis of the dismal poll performance. “Political weaknesses, followed by failure to allow the administration to function properly and finally the acute organisational lapse seem to have been responsible for the severe electoral setback,” Forward Bloc State secretary Ashok Ghosh told a TV channel. Mr. Ghosh said: “We were confused by the numerical strength of 235 (LF) and 30 (Trinamool Congress) in the previous Assembly but it was not much given prominence that the vote percentage difference was less than one per cent.” The veteran leader demanded a detailed analysis of the Front's poll reverses.
