* * A sentence in the second paragraph of the editorial “Bhardwaj has to go” (May 18, 2011) read: “Although the Bommai judgment has limited the partisan use of Article 356 of the Constitution impossible, the case of Mr. Bhardwaj highlights the dangers of possible misuse of the powers vested in the office of Governor.” It should read, “Although the Bommai judgment has limited the partisan use of Article 356 of the Constitution, the case of Mr. Bhardwaj…”

* * The first sentence of the second paragraph of the report, “Centre to sell entire stake in Scooters India” (Business, May 20, 2011) said, “Pressing with its Uttar Pradesh-centric approach what with the elections knowing the doors …” It should have been “ knocking the doors …”
