Granted bail

CUTTACK: While trial in the sensational Kandhamal nun rape case at the district and sessions court here is all set to begin the cross examination of defence witnesses, one more accused arrested in connection with the case was granted bail by Orissa High Court on Friday. Somnath Pradhan, a native of Baliguda in Kandhamal district arrested by the crime branch police in June 2010 was granted bail by Justice C R Dash. The accused shall furnish a bail bond of Rs 40,000 and two sureties of like amount before the concerned lower court, the HC said in its order.
