Maoists free abducted rail employees
GAYA: Maoists on Sunday released two abducted railway employees at an isolated place away from the Chakant railway halt in Bihar's Gaya district, a top official said.
Leverman Suresh Ram and Dhanraj Paswan were released by the Maoists about five km from halt number 65C, from where they were abducted on Saturday night, ADGP (Railways) S.K. Bhardwaj said.
They were abducted during a 48-hour bandh call in Bihar and Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa.
The ultras burnt a log book and took away the telephone set and keys of a cabin at the railway halt, Mr. Bhardwaj said. — PTI
