Case against 120 persons

MADURAI: Police booked cases against 120 persons who were found smoking in public places. According to Deputy Inspector General Sandeep Mittal, who is also holding additional charge as Commissioner of Police (Madurai City), public can inform the police control room (100) or at 2350700 or 2350800 (the office of Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Section) without revealing their identity.

He assured prompt action.
