Devotees draw temple car

KARUR: Hundreds of devotees participated in the car festival of Sri Mariamman Temple here on Monday.

The ritual was conducted as part of the annual festival. Devotees started drawing the car early in the morning even as hundreds of devotees waited in queues to pour sacred water on the tripod-shaped sacred stem that represents the divinity.
