Body of a resident was found in a tractor-trailer
VILLUPURAM: Residents of Ariyalur near Thirukkoilur blocked traffic near the Thirukkoilur-Pagandai road junction on Wednesday, when the body of V. Srinivasan (20), a resident, was found in a tractor-trailer parked not far away from the police station situated near the junction.
However, the tractor driver, Selvam, surrendered in the station and explained how the youth died. He said that Srinivasan, studying in a private industrial training institute had come down home for summer holidays. He accompanied Selvam to a sand quarry on Tuesday night.
On the way, Srinivasan accidentally fell down from the tractor and died. Selvam had left the tractor trailer with the body near the police station.
The police have registered a case.
