MUMBAI: The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested two more persons, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, 21, and Adnan Idayat Sayyed, 21, suspected to be involved in the murder of Arif Sayyed, driver of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's brother Iqbal Kaskar.

Adnan Sayyed was picked up by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad and then handed over to the Crime Branch on Tuesday. Both were remanded in police custody till May 31 by a local court on Wednesday.

Sayyed was killed on Pakmodia Street on May 17, on the ground floor of the residence of Iqbal Kaskar. On the same night, the police arrested two persons. suspected to be the shooters. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Himanshu Roy told The Hindu: “We arrested two persons yesterday [Tuesday] evening. We suspect that both are conspirators and were complicit in the offence.”
