Schools to reopen on June 15

VELLORE: The Chief Educational Officer (CEO), Vellore, has received an order from the Director of School Education that all government, aided and unaided high and higher secondary schools in Vellore district should be reopened on June 15.

P. Punniyakoti, CEO, Vellore, told The Hindu that he has communicated the order to all headmasters concerned in the district.

Similarly, the Inspector of Matriculation Schools (IMS), Tiruvannamalai, has received an order from the Director of Matriculation Schools that all matriculation high and higher secondary schools in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts should be reopened on June 15. Vanmathi, IMS, Tiruvannamalai, said that the communication has been sent to all nodal headmasters in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts which come under her control.
