Amarinder visits Badal home

SHARING GRIEF: Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh at the residence of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in Badal village on Thursday to convey his condolences over the demise of his wife Surinder Kaur Badal.

BADAL (Punjab): Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh on Thursday visited the home of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in his native village to condole the death of his wife Surinder Kaur Badal who passed away on Tuesday.

Accompanied by his party colleagues, Capt Amarinder Singh spent half an hour with Mr. Badal, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and other family members.

The former Chief Minister said he had come to share the grief of the family on his and his party's behalf.

The Punjab Congress leader was accompanied by PCC vice-president Lal Singh, senior leader Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and other local party leaders and MLAs.
