KHAMMAM: Tribal Welfare Commissioner A. Shanthi Kumari has directed the ITDA officials to create proper awareness on nutrition and hygiene among the tribal people. Ms. Shanthi Kumari visited the Nutrition and Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in Bhadrachalam on Friday. She enquired about the health status of 27 children presently undergoing treatment at the NRC for various ailments and disorders associated with malnutrition. She asked the ITDA officials to highlight the institutionalised services being offered by the centre among the tribal people to help them make optimum use of the facility ITDA Project Officer Praveen Kumar, DEO (Agency) Srinivasa Chary were present.
