VISAKHAPATNAM: The inaugural R.V.V.K. Prasad Memorial prize money cricket tournament will begin on Saturday.

Four teams — A, B, C and D selected from among the players who represented Visakhapatnam district in various age groups during the 2010-11 season, will play in a two-day round-robin league.

The top two teams will again play the final on June 7 and 8. The winner will get Rs.15,000 and the runner-up Rs.10,000.

The teams will be led by Y. Venugopala Rao, Y. Gnaneswara Rao, H. Vatekar and B. Sumanth and the matches will be played at YSR ACA-VDCA stadium and Port stadium, according to VDCA joint secretary J.K.M. Raju.
