Centum pass for 25 government schools

THENI: Fifteen government high and higher schools in Theni and 10 in Dindigul districts achieved centum success in the SSLC exams.
A total of 29 schools, including 15 government schools in the district achieved 100 per cent results, according to K. Selvaraj, Chief Educational Officer. Performance of government schools, particularly Kallar schools were exceedingly well. The Kallar schools are at Amalapuram, Margayankottai, Asaripatti, Muthanampatti, Muncipal Girls HSS, Cumbum, and Annanji and the government schools are at Chettipatti, Melasindhalaiserry, Melasokkanathapuram, Shnanmugasundarapuram, G. Malaikottai, G. Usilampatti, Thekkampatti and Kondamanaickenpatti and Kadhir Narasingapuram. In 2010, 14 schools only had achieved 100 per cent success.
Total pass percentage in State board exams was 91.45 per cent compared to previous year's percentage of 89.7 per cent, he added. In matriculation exam, pass percentage was 95.48. Last year pass percentage was 97 only.
Dindigul
Forty-one schools, including 10 government schools, achieved 100 per cent in Dindigul district. Six schools in Dindigul educational district, including one on lower Kodaikanal hill and four schools in Palani educational district, achieved 100 per cent results.
