Two drown in stream

Karwar: Two persons from Bangalore drowned in the Henjil stream in the Haduvalli Gram Panchayat area on Friday.

The victims were identified as Shakir (22) and Nayeem (22) of Fraser Town in Bangalore. Another person, Kasif, was rescued.

According to the police, six persons — three of them from Bhatkal — had gone to Henjil for a swim.
