Two girls hospitalised

COIMBATORE: Two girls were admitted to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital on Friday after they allegedly consumed poison.

A 16-year-old girl from Kurichi and another girl from Thudiyalur reportedly consumed poison following their failure in the SSLC examinations.

Both were undergoing treatment at CMCH and their condition was said to be stable. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
