VMC to take action against unauthorised constructions

VIJAYAWADA: Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Ravi Babu has said that necessary action will be taken against those who constructed unauthorised buildings and structures in violation of the permitted plan and existing guidelines.

As part of the commissioner's orders, the officials demolished unauthorised structures in the second floor of a building in One Town Kabela area on Saturday.

Drawing the attention to this, Mr. Ravibabu said the builders and owners of buildings should necessarily follow the building plan approved by the municipal corporation without deviating from it.

Assistant city planner Prabhakar Rao, town planning building inspector 1 Dhanunjay Reddy and others were present.
