11 arrested on charge of gambling

VIJAYAWADA: The City Police Commissioner's Task Force team arrested 11 persons on the charge of resorting to gambling at Ibrahimpatnam on the city outskirts. The Task Force team raided a gambling den on Saturday morning and recovered Rs. 33,210 in cash and 12 cellphones from the arrested persons.

The raids were being conducted as part of a drive to check gambling at different places in the city limits.
