Daily wage staff plan dharna

HUBLI: Karnataka State Government Daily Wage Employees Federation has decided to launch an indefinite dharna in Bangalore on June 6 to press for enactment of legislation for regularising the services of 17,000 daily wage employees.

A decision in this regard was taken at the executive committee meeting of the federation chaired by its president K.S. Sharma here on Sunday.

In the meeting, in which delegates from across the State participated, it was resolved to stage the dharna in Bangalore when the legislature will be in session.
