SBH opens branch at Marripalem

VISAKHAPATNAM: The 72nd branch of State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) in Visakhapatnam region and the 28th in the city, was inaugurated by bank's Deputy General Manager A.N. Krishnan at Marripalem on Monday.

Assistant General Manager D. Srinivasa Rao, Chief Manager G.V. Paratpara Rao, and Branch Manager P.S.L.N. Phani Kumar were among those who attended the inaugural function.

The Visakhapatnam zone, which comprises Krishna, Guntur, East and West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts, and Orissa State, has 210 branches as on March 31, this year. The zone recorded a net profit of Rs.161.99 crore at the end of March 31 this year as against Rs.117.34 crore achieved last year. The target of the zone was to open 21 branches during the present financial year.
