CBSE results: schools post good results

Kozhikode: The schools in the city came out in flying colours in the class 10 examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) when the results of the Chennai region were announced on Tuesday.

Almost all schools scored a 100 per cent pass, with many of their students bagging A1 grade in all subjects.

When all 323 students passed at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, 66 of them secured the top grade in all subjects. Silver Hills Public School had 20 of the 45 students winning the A1 grade in all subjects and the rest scoring distinction.

As many as 26 of the 68 students got A1 grade in all subjects at Devagiri CMI Public School, another school with 100 per cent pass. The number was 26 of 62 in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, again with full pass.

Veda Vyasa Vidyalayam scored 100 per cent pass with 53 of the 103 students winning A1 in all subjects.

All 67 students from MES Raja Residential School, Pavangad, passed with 10 of them securing A1 grade in all subjects. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan made it a total victory with 34 of the 168 students bagging A1 grade in all subjects.

Hill Top Public School at Puthiyara secured a 100 per cent success, with three of the 77 students winning A1 grade in all subjects.

Several CBSE schools in the interior parts of the district too registered 100 pass. In Alphonsa English Medium School, Thamarassery, 20 of the 84 students got A1 grade in all subjects. In MES Raja Residential School, Chathamangalam, 34 of the 59 students secured distinction.
