Officials gearing up for ‘Rythu Sadassu'

KAKINADA: As part of the Statewide programme aimed at creating awareness among farmers about modern methods of farming, ‘Rythu Sadassu' will be conducted in various places in the district from June 7 to June 11.

Schedule announced

Announcing the schedule here on Tuesday, Collector M. Ravi Chandra said that a special committee was formed under his stewardship with officials of 25 departments to conduct the programme. During the ‘Rythu Sadassu,' farmers of the revenue division concerned could interact with officials and have their doubts cleared, he said.

As per the schedule, ‘Rythu Sadassu' will be held on the premises of Badam Madhava Rao Govenrment High School for Girls at Pithapuram on June 7. The programme will be held at Government High School, Kirlampudi, on June 8 and at Government Junior College at Rampachodavaram on June 9.

Farmers from the Rajahmundry revenue division can participate in the ‘Rythu Sadassu' to be held at Alamuru Government Junior College premises at Kotturu centre on June 10 and their counterparts from the Amalapuram revenue division can participate in the programme to be held on the premises of the Agriculture Market Committee at Katrenikona on June 11.
