Inter student commits suicide

Parents allege harassment by neighbour as reason for the step
ADILABAD: N. Vijaya, an intermediate second year student from Ghadialghar locality committed suicide on Tuesday by consuming poison at her residence. According to police, she took the extreme step due to harassment of her neighbour Sabir.
Vijaya's parents alleged the harassment was going on since a few weeks. They had even complained the matter to the Two Town Police who did not register it. As the harassment continued despite the complaint, the girl committed suicide, they maintained.
Meanwhile, Parents and SC organisations, staged a protest at the bus stand demanding suspension of the police officer concerned and arrest of the accused.
