Dehra Dun: Two helicopters carrying a Chhattisgarh minister and his family made an emergency landing in Gauchar area of Chamoli on Tuesday due to inclement weather. Chhattisgarh PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal along with seven family members was flying to Kedarnath shrine when the weather suddenly turned bad, following which their helicopters made the emergency landing at Gauchar, said Rudraprayag Superintendent of Police Vimla Gunjyal. However, the weather soon became clear again and the helicopters were allowed to take off for nearby Fata helipad, she said. Mr. Agrawal and his family members are staying at Fata as the weather on Fata-Kedarnath route is still bad.
