Actors held in prostitution racket

Bangalore: Two women, who had acted in several Kannada films and teleserials, were arrested along with two men here on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in a prostitution racket.
Officials attached to the Women and Narcotics Squad of Central Crime Branch (CCB) raided a lodge on West of Chord Road in the Magadi Road police station limits and busted the racket. The arrested are Suma (29) of Nagarabavi, Lakshmi (40) of Magadi Road, Srinivas (34) and Purushotham (25) .
Suma had acted in film such as Sandalwood and Arbhata and television serials such as Rangoli, Mangalya and Baduku. Lakshmi had acted in Radhika and Kumkuma Bhagya serials, said a CCB officer.
Hacked to death
A 25-year-old man was found hacked to death near Yeshwanthpur here in the early hours of Wednesday, the police said.
