HYDERABAD: All the major Opposition parties have welcomed the Telugu Desam Party's move to table a no confidence motion against the government for its alleged “failure on all counts”. TRS to support The Telangana Rashtra Samiti, the Left Parties and the Bharatiya Janata Party have extended their support to the motion claiming that it would help expose the failures of the government. The Left parties were firm on voting against the government while the BJP said it would take a final decision as and when the motion was tabled. Left parties' stand CPI State secretary K. Narayana said his party MLAs would participate in the debate to expose the government's failure in coming to the rescue of farmers as also its inept handling of the situation in Kakarapalli and Sompet. CPI (M) State secretariat member Y.V. Rao welcomed the TDP's move claiming that issues like these were expected to be finalised on the floor of House rather than confining them to paper. BJP to wait The BJP had decided to wait for the Speaker's acceptance of the no trust motion. BJP State president G. Kishan Reddy, however, said his part was against the government's “anti-people” policies and the stand would be finalised accordingly. He wanted the session to be conducted for a week for ensuring thorough debate on immediate problems faced by farmers and other sections.
