Food for cancer patients' attendants

HYDERABAD: The NTR Memorial Trust and Basavatharakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital have entered into a memorandum of understanding on Thursday for providing accommodation and food to attendants of poor cancer patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The building will be constructed in the hospital premises at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh donated by T. L. Prasad Associates. There is a plan to create facilities for serving food to about 500 people daily. These facilities, to be ready by November. While the amount for building would be enough, the trust has sought donations for provision of food.
