Eight child labourers rescued

HYDERABAD: Eight children working as child labourers in different factories in Jeedimetla Industrial Area were rescued by the officials of Factories Department during a special drive on Wednesday.

One child was handed over to his father while the remaining seven children hailing from West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh were admitted to the Government Boy's Home in Saidabad. The department has said that legal action would be taken against the management for employing children.
