Post office joins hands with RMIL to offer gold coins

HYDERABAD: Department of Posts in association with Reliance Money Infrastructure Limited (RMIL) is selling 24 carat gold coins of 0.5 gm, 1 gm, 5 gm, 8 gm, 10 gm, 20 gm and 50 gm in tamper-proof packs under the special festive campaign launched from April 4 to June 30 at 54 identified State Post Offices.

As per the offer, a 0.5 gm coin will be given free on the purchase of 10 gm coin and for government employees there is a scheme of 6 per cent discount on that day's retail price.

The coins are manufactured by Valcambi SA, Switzerland, and have internationally recognised assayers certification and product standardisation, said a press release by the Postal department.
