Stay on razing of Mantri mall structures

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court on Friday restrained the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike from continuing demolition of ramps and other structures of Mantri Square on Sampige Road.

Justice S. Abdul Nazeer passed the interim order on a petition filed by the Mantri group. The petitioner claimed that the ramps and other structures that were demolished were part of the mall plan approved by the BBMP and that the civic authority had not issued any demolition notice.
