COIMBATORE: Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, will conduct a two-day management development programme on “Accounting for Medical Professionals” on June 6 and 7. It will be held at Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science. Balance sheet According to a press release issued here, the programme is designed to provide participants understanding of accounts and costing domains of management, the jargons used and their meaning, analysis of financial statements such as profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow, etc. The programme also aims to inspire participants imbibe understanding of how decisions of accounting personnel impact the top and bottom line of hospitals.
