PALAKKAD: Former Minister V.C. Kabeer inaugurated a convention against corruption here on Saturday. It was jointly organised by the Jan Jagratha Samithi, Palakkad Munnot, Solidarity, and Save the Right to Information Campaign. The proposed Jan Lokpal Bill should bring under its purview the Prime Minister, MPs, Judges, and all bureaucrats, speakers at the convention said. Plachimada Anti Cola Samara Aikyadhardya Samithi chairman Indannur Gopi presided over the convention. It was addressed by Jan Jagratha chairman P.S. Panikkar, social activist Shivan Madathil, and P.M. Ravindran, among others.
