Purushotham Reddy reviewed the fertilizer supply position in Mahabubnagar district with dealers and officials on Saturday. He asked the dealers to adhere to rules and guidelines on the sale of chemical fertilizers in view of the strict monitoring by government agencies. He said every dealer should display the stock available and the prices notified. Any dealer found collecting more than the MRP would be penalised severely. Also, the fertilizers allotted for the district should not be smuggled into other districts. Like wise, dealers should not attempt to get chemicals from other districts. He suggested that farmers should be asked to collect chemicals in a staggered way village-wise so that there was no rush on a single day. Rythu Sadassu The Collector also reviewed the arrangements for conducting divisional level Rythu Sadassu between June 7 and 11.
