ALAPPUZHA: The police have launched a hunt for the husband of a woman, who was found murdered in their residence at Pallipad near here on Friday. Abraham Thomas alias Aby went missing just before his wife's body was found in their bedroom on Friday. According to the police, the rest of the family have given statements that though they were in nearby rooms, none of them heard anything unusual from the couple's room. Sheeba, 25, a nursing postgraduate student in Bangalore, was found with stab wounds all over her face and neck and with her tongue in a severed condition. The police said that Aby was seen walking out of the room a little before the body was found by relatives and that he had not taken his mobile phone with him.
