TIRUCHI: The Nadhadweepam Trust will conduct Carnatic music competition for budding artistes in the age group of 7–25 years for evaluating their creative abilities on July 2 and 3. The music competitions ‘Swaraarnavam-2011' will be conducted in three levels – sub junior, junior and senior level. The competitions will be conducted in vocal and instruments (percussion and non percussion). The winners in senior category will be given a chance to perform in the anniversary celebrations of Nadhadweepam Trust. As a part of enhancing and inculcating Carnatic music, a quiz competition will also be conducted on July 3, which is open to all, according to a press release of ‘Tiruchi' K.Ramesh, Managing Trustee, Nadhadweepam Trust.
