HNPCL sports camp opened

VISAKHAPATNAM: Hinduja National Power Corporation (HNPCL), which is setting up a thermal power plant, is organising a three-day summer sports camp at Palavalasa Village of Pedagantyada mandal from Saturday to Monday.

The camp, being organised as part of corporate social responsibility, was inaugurated by HNPCL Vice-President (projects) P. Arun Kumar.  

Cricket and volleyball tournaments will be conducted during next two days.  Around 22 teams from the surrounding 20 villages are participating.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arun Kumar said that the company had planned many CSR activities in a phased manner.
