Woman poisons daughters, kills self

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Kempamma (34) committed suicide by consuming poison, after she fed milk laced with poison to her two daughters, aged 12 and 10 on Friday. The younger daughter, Brinda, is recovering while her sister Chandrakala died.

A squabble with her husband, Gangadhara, led Kempamma to take the extreme step, sources in the Rajagopal Nagar Police Station in Byraveshwaranagar said. Gangadhara, who works as an insurance agent, was at the provision store at the time of the incident, the police added.
