Competitions for students

Shimoga: Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has organised various competitions in the city for the students to mark the World Environment Day.

An essay writing competition on forest and environment will be held at Kasturba PU College for high school students on June 8 at 10.30 a.m.

A group singing competition will be held on June 9 at National PU College premises at 10.30 a.m. for high school and college students. A skit competition will be held at Government PU College, B.H. Road, on June 10 at 10.30 a.m. for high school students. Drawing competition will be held for primary and high school students on the theme of environment at Kuvempu Centenary Education Institute on June 14 at 10 a.m.
